At the pedagogical faculty of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University, from 9 to 27 October,Hans Jacob Schmitz- professor of  University after Goethe in Frankfurt, Germany, director of the Center for the Training of History Teachers conducted lectures for students of the 2-3 courses of speciality “History”.

Hans Jakob Schmidt participated in international research projects in many countries: Finland, Italy, Lithuania, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Israel, Iran, Nepal, India, Australia, Argentina and Brazil. His name can be found in many scientific and educational publications related to the teaching of History.

Also on October 25 at the pedagogical faculty of  WKITU Hans Jakob Schmitz organized a round table with the participation of  instructors and students of the Department of History and SDH and teachers of secondary schools on the theme: “The consequences of myths, arguments and fantasies in the History teaching. How to find out what happened in history in fact?”The round table was attended by teachers of secondary schools in Uralsk. At the end of the round tablethe participants were awarded with certificates.
