On February 22, 2024, the 2nd course magistrands of EP “Foreign language: two foreign languages” of the Foreign languages and Translation Studies department at the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University Kayirzhanova Aliya Zulkarnayovna and Uapova Akzharkyn Agatayqyzy had demo-lessons at the Gymnasium of Aesthetics for 5 А, Ә grades.
The purpose of the demo-lesson is to increase the interest of students in learning English and improve the academic progress of the learners, using scientific research methods of their dissertation, effectively applied in practice. The demo-lessons “Regular and irregular verbs” were conducted using the lesson study approach. This approach helps to research learners sustainably and to consider any difficulties in learning English and find out the solutions as well as to increase the academic achievement of the learners. Matzhanova G.Zh. – Candidate of Philology, associate professor of the Foreign languages and Translation Studies department was invited as a methodologist, gave her opinion on the lessons and shared the ways of increasing the effectiveness of the communicative approach.
