On April 09, 2024, Igor Alekseevich Dyakov, a visiting professor from Tambov State Technical University, successfully gave a lecture on the discipline «Digital Circuit Engineering» on the topic «Introduction to digital Circuit Engineering» to students of EP 6B06104 Computer Engineering and Information Systems and teachers of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering.

The purpose of the lecture was to familiarize the audience with the basic concepts and principles of digital circuitry, as well as to present examples of applications in modern electronics. Main topics:

• Basic concepts and terms in digital circuitry.
• Advantages of digital circuits over analog ones.
• An overview of the main components of digital circuits.
• Synthesis of basic electrical circuits :modeling.
• Examples of practical applications of digital circuitry in various fields.

The lecture began with an introductory speech by a visiting professor, who introduced himself and briefly spoke about his experience in the field of digital circuitry. Then the main topics of the lecture were presented, and the professor examined each of them in detail, using practical examples and relevant research. Students and teachers actively participated in the discussion and asked questions, which contributed to the interactivity of the event.

The lecture «Introduction to digital circuitry» was rich, informative and ended successfully. The participants were able to learn more about the fundamental aspects of digital circuitry, as well as discuss current technological trends and challenges in this area. The participants gained new knowledge and inspiration for further research in the field of digital circuitry.
