On October 20, 2025, the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering launched classes within the framework of a joint educational program in the discipline “Automation of Technological Processes in Oil and Gas Production”, implemented in cooperation with Almetyevsk State Technological University – “Higher School of Oil”.
The classes are attended by third-year students of the educational program 6B07204 – Oil and Gas Engineering. The course is taught by Irina Petrovna Sitdikova, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Automation and Information Technologies, who has extensive teaching and industrial experience.
From the very first lectures and practical sessions, students have shown great interest in the subject, actively asking questions, discussing modern automation technologies, and sharing their own engineering ideas.
Such educational initiatives contribute to strengthening international cooperation between universities, exchanging advanced experience, and introducing innovative approaches to the training of future specialists in the oil and gas industry. Students gain a unique opportunity to learn about modern methods of managing production processes and see real examples of their implementation at industrial enterprises.
The joint program not only broadens the professional horizons of students but also develops their engineering mindset, readiness to solve practical problems, and ability to work in a high-tech oil and gas production environment.
