On the eve of the Open Doors Day at our Institute of Industry Technologies, the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering conducted career guidance work among students of the secondary school in the village of Pokatilovka. During the event, a student named Bauyrzhan Nurdaulet showed a special interest in our educational program “Oil and Gas Engineering” and expressed his desire to pursue a career as a driller.

The conversation with Bauyrzhan was held by Associate Professor Kayyrbek Aytzhanovich, PhD in Technical Sciences. During the discussion, he explained in detail the specifics and importance of the work of an oil industry specialist and introduced him to the faculty members of the department.

To provide deeper immersion into the profession, during the career guidance session, Bauyrzhan was shown a documentary film demonstrating the main stages and modern technologies of the oil and gas industry.
