On October 17, 2025, students of the educational program 6B07205 – Food Technology and Safety, under the guidance of senior lecturer M.M. Utarova, visited Bread Factory No.1 in Uralsk, where they gained practical insights into the technology of confectionery production.

Bread Factory No.1 is one of the largest enterprises in the region. During the tour, students became familiar with the factory’s modern production lines and observed all stages of the technological process for producing confectionery items such as wafers, dragees, and croissants.

Throughout the excursion, students:

studied the principles of operation of industrial equipment;

observed the full production cycle — from raw material intake to packaging of finished products.

This hands-on experience allowed them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical skills and gain a deeper understanding of critical aspects related to food safety and quality assurance.

Factory specialists provided detailed explanations of the specific features of the technological processes, placing special emphasis on quality control and compliance with production standards. In addition, students had the opportunity to ask questions about sanitary-hygienic regulations and environmental standards, contributing to the development of their professional competencies.

This practical session was a significant step in familiarizing students with the industrial environment, mastering modern technologies, and enhancing their interest in their future profession.
