Senior teachers of the Department “Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering” of the Institute of Industrial Technologies Buranova N.G. and Abdrakhmanova G.T. organized for 3rd year students OP 6B017102 – “Electric Power Engineering” and 6B07105 – Automation and control (by industry) a practical lesson in the disciplines “Electric machines” and “Electric machines and electric drive” on Ural Transformer Plant. The students and teachers were greeted by the director of production of Ispanov A.E. The safety engineer familiarized the students and teachers with the safety rules at the plant.

During the practical lesson, the students got a comprehensive understanding of the transformer design and got acquainted in detail with the components of each device. They were able to observe all stages of the production process — from the preparation of materials and winding of windings to assembly, quality control and final finished products. The practical lesson allowed us to see the work of the enterprise with a full production cycle, which contributed to a deeper understanding of the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of the operation of electric machines and electric drives. The experience gained broadened the professional horizons of the students and increased their motivation to further study the disciplines and develop in their chosen specialty.
