On December 12, 2023, a guest lecture was held at the Department of Architecture and Construction of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the ZKITU with the participation of a specialist of the Land Cadastre Department of the Branch of the NAO “State Corporation “Government for Citizens” in the West Kazakhstan region Kairov Raiymbek Mendykhanovich.

Lecturer, specialist of the Land Cadastre Department of the Branch of the NAO “State Corporation “Government for Citizens” in the West Kazakhstan Region Kairov Raiymbek Mendykhanovich gave a lecture on “Satellite (GPS) measurements in land management”, talking about the use of satellite measurements that allow to determine the position of objects with high accuracy, satellite measurements are carried out through the use of radio signals from two satellite navigation systems, in particular Geodesy uses only ground-based measurement methods to ensure visual visibility between points, since today this problem is being successfully solved using satellite measurements.

Their advantages are as follows: the ability to carry out geodetic measurements without eye contact between points at a distance of several thousand kilometers; measurements do not depend on weather conditions and time of day; increase measurement accuracy by reducing the influence of the atmosphere; measurements can be carried out in motion; automation of measurements increases labor productivity and minimizes errors.
