April 21 at 18:00 in the Eurasia Tourist and Health Center of Uralsk, an awards ceremony was held for participants in “sports orientation” of the Х-th Summer Universiade, organized by West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University in cooperation with the National scientific and practical center for physical culture of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Department of physical culture and sports of the West Kazakhstan region.

According to the results of orienteering competitions in the team event among 11 participating teams:

women: 1-st place was taken by the team of West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University named after Zhangirkhan;

2-nd place was taken by the team of Taraz State University named after M.Kh.Dulati;

3-rd place team of the East Kazakhstan State University named after D. Serikbayev;

men: 1-st place was taken by the team of Taraz State University named after M.Kh.Dulati;

2-nd place was taken by the team of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University;

3-rd place – team of the East Kazakhstan State University named after D.Serikbayev.

All winners were awarded with medals, cups and diplomas. Also, the coaches of the teams that won prizes were awarded with commemorative medals of the 10th Summer Universiade.
