In the second half of the 2020-2021 academic year, the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of the Faculty of Languages and Management organized training of students in the following areas within the framework of academic mobility:

   – 2 students of the 2nd year of the specialty “Foreign language: two foreign languages” are trained at the West Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemisov;

   – for the students of the III course of the specialty “Foreign language: two foreign languages”, the teacher Rakhmatullina Dilyaravilyevna, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Orenburg State Pedagogical University conducts classes in the discipline “Business English” as part of modular training;

   – for students of the second year of the specialty “Translation”, the teacher Kosolapova Tatyana Valeryevna, Ph. D., Associate Professor of the Department of English Philology and Intercultural Communication of the Samara State Socio-Pedagogical University conducts classes on the discipline “Theory and practice of professionally-oriented translation” within the framework of modular training.

   All classes are conducted online using the ZOOM Free Conference Call platforms.

   Matzhanova G. Zh., Ph. D., Associate Professor of the Department “Foreign Languages and Translation” conducts a number of online lectures on the methodology on the topic “EFL Methodology” to students of the Orenburg State Pedagogical University.

   Studying under academic mobility programs allows our students to improve their level of foreign language proficiency, deepen their theoretical knowledge and practical skills, get to know the country better, and get to know their Kazakh and foreign peers.
