The educational program 6B07101 – Transport, transport equipment and technology was developed on the basis of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education” dated July 27, 2007 No. 319-III ZRK (with amendments and additions as of 04/27/2023). The sectoral framework of qualifications and Professional Standards of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, as well as current regulatory documents PK.
The educational program provides for students to choose their field of study in one of the following two specializations: “Cars and automotive industry” and “Railway rolling stock”. During the revision of the OP , the following additions and changes were made to it:
— the disciplines of Fundamentals of Ecology, Business and Law, Financial literacy, Vehicle safety, Labor protection in transport, Intelligent transport systems, Design and operation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems of the car, Electric traction means, Fundamentals of design, Auto repair and branded car maintenance, The trend of automotive development are included.
The advantages of educational programs are that modern innovative technologies are used in the classroom, practice-oriented classes are held on the basis of Boshavtoservice, IP “Perepelkin A.Ya.”, LLP “Izdenis”, ZKOF LLP “Kazakhavtodor”, LLP “AstanaRailwayServices”, branch “Ural wagon repair depot”.
There are branches of the department in IP “Perepelkin A.Ya.”, Boshavtoservice where specialists of leading enterprises of the region conduct practical classes. One of the most important activities of the department is the development of cooperation in the field of science and education with Kazakh and foreign universities and centers. Cooperation is carried out through the implementation of joint scientific research, training of teachers of ZKITU in postgraduate studies of Russian universities, internships, obtaining additional professional education, organizing and participating in international scientific conferences, publishing scientific articles in foreign publications, inviting foreign professors.
Within the framework of agreements on international cooperation in the field of science and education, the departments conduct joint research with partner universities: Tambov State Technical University, Gagarin State Technical University.
According to the research component, 3 projects were conducted in the 2022-2023 academic year with students participating in the implementation of research and the number of winners in republican – 2 and international – 4 diplomas and published scientific papers by students – 8 articles.
According to OP 6B07101 – Transport, transport equipment and technology, students completed courses within the framework of professional certification in the period from November 14 to 25, 2022 at AlemProm LLP with the qualification of “Thermist” and “Discharge-filling operator” of the IV category. External and internal academic mobility is carried out every academic year for students in Kazakh and foreign universities.
As measures to reduce risks, departments have carried out activities on:
- Conducting effective career guidance work among graduates of schools, colleges of the relevant educational program.
- Involvement of leading teachers of domestic and foreign partner universities, experienced practitioners from production in the educational process under the academic mobility program.
