On November 12, as part of the annual Quality Week “Digital Technologies in Education as a factor in improving the quality of professional training”, Nagima Karimovna Timirgaliyeva, a master class of the highest category librarian of the Zhuban Moldagaliev Regional Central Universal Scientific Library, “Creative Librarian” in the discipline “Professional ethics of a librarian” was held.  Nagima Karimovna shared her work experience and examples of successful creative practices: the Mercury Speaker’s club, non-standard exhibitions, art spaces, book flash mobs, storytelling, the use of social networks and interactive technologies. The guest spoke about the work of the IFLA World Library and Information Congress, which was held in Central Asia in Kazakhstan for the first time in its history. The international event is aimed at improving the professional level of library staff and improving the quality of library and information services. The purpose of the master class is to develop creative thinking among future librarians and to master modern forms of working with readers.
