Department of Transport and technology
The Department of Transport and Technology provides educational services that meet the expectations of consumers in the Western region of Kazakhstan and provides the transfer of knowledge and experience that allows students to prepare for highly effective work activities in the implementation of innovations in the fields of science, technology and technology. The department implements Bachelor’s degree programs 6B07101 – “Transport, transport equipment and technologies”; 6B11301 – “Organization and road safety”; 6В07104 – «Ttechnological machines and equipment”;
Training of specialists at the department is conducted in Kazakh and Russian languages. The Department is constantly working on improving progressive methods of training and professional training of graduates in the technical field, in the field of electric power and power supply, as well as in IT areas, who are competent in performing engineering tasks in various profiles.
The department trains engineering and technical personnel in profiles that produce high-quality personnel potential of our country, which is extremely important for enterprises of Kazakhstan.
The main areas of activity of the department are conducting research and teaching disciplines in the fields of transport and transport technology, organization of transportation, operation of transport, power supply, as well as in the field of information technology and computer technology. Teachers of the Department of Engineering and Technology systematically improve their skills in leading higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.
Research work of teaching staff in these areas has an initiative-search character. The main end results are writing textbooks, articles, making presentations at scientific and practical conferences, updating educational and lecture materials, and performing contractual work.
Within the framework of international scientific cooperation, a program of creative cooperation was developed and signed between the Department of “Transport and Technology” of ZKITU and the Department of “Engineering Physics, Electrical Equipment and Electrical Technologies” of the N. I. Vavilov SSAU, plans for creative cooperation between the Department of “Transport and Technology” of ZKITU and the departments of “Transportation Organization, Traffic Safety and car service”, “Heat and gas supply and oil and gas business” of SSTU (RF) in the main directions.
Concluded agreement on cooperation in the field of science and education with foreign research centers FGBNU All-Russian Research Institute for the Use of Machinery and Petroleum Products in Agriculture. Teachers are currently working on projects Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc. for participation in competitions for grant funding on the topic: Development of technology for refueling, transportation and feeding automotive diesel engines with gas-engine fuel for agriculture (scientific hands. – Biniyazov A.M., doctor PhD, assoc.Prof.), Modernization of agricultural machinery and aggregates for the use of coordinate (precision) farming (scientific hand. – A. N. Omarov, Doctor of Medicine PhD, assoc.Prof.), Development of technology to reduce oil product losses during storage in oil storage tanks and gas stations (scientific hand. Churikova L. A., Candidate of Technical Sciences.PhD, assoc. prof.), Improvement technological process of preparation of dry loose feed mixes (Kazhiyakhmetova A. A. , cand. techn.Doctor of Science, Senior Lecturerteacher).
