October 28, 2021 by the Department of the Anti – Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Anti – Corruption Service) in the West Kazakhstan region, together with the Bolashak Association, a lecture was held for students on the topic: “Fundamentals of the formation of integrity and anti – corruption culture”.
The events were attended by the head of the Prevention and Integrity Department of the anti – corruption service of the West Kazakhstan Region Khairullin Birzhan Mardanovich and also a representative of the branch of the Republican Public Association “Adilet Zholy” in Uralsk Akhmetzhan Bauyrzhan Zakievich and the head of the Department of onomastic work and control of visual information of the West Kazakhstan Regional Department for the Development of Languages Edekeshov Amangeldy Sharipovich.
In his speeches, Birzhan Mardanovich noted the importance of forming an anti – corruption culture among students, instilling in them the principles of integrity, honesty, responsibility and patriotism. In addition, he spoke about the work of the anti – corruption service and told where to turn when confronted with students with offenses.
During the lecture, the students were presented with a video clip in which, in accordance with paragraph 88 of the National Plan for the implementation of the President’s Address to the People of Kazakhstan dated September 1, 2021, the Agency prepared a draft concept of anti – corruption policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022 – 2026. The representative of the language department Amangeldy Sharipovich explained to students the consequences of corruption and urged young people to refrain from giving and receiving bribes. Bauyrzhan Zakinuli told the students about his mentorship and explained how not to lose moral foundations.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the anti – corruption department of the city answered the questions of the participants of the event. In turn, the youth exchanged their ideas and suggestions on improving the anti – corruption policy.
