Welcome to the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University!

The Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies is a structural unit of the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University and trains students in the following undergraduate and graduate educational programs:

6В02301 – Translation Studies
6B01707 – Russian Language and Literature in Schools with Russian and Non-Russian Languages of Instruction (IP)
7M01702 – Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages (Master’s Program)
7M01707 – Russian Language and Literature in Schools with Non-Russian Language of Instruction (Master’s Program)

The department trains specialists in foreign language education. With knowledge of English and Russian you can get a job, study abroad, pursue science, and travel. You can gain access to such opportunities through the educational programs of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies. A feature of educational programs is that it helps to develop “soft skills” in addition to improving students’ language level and professional qualifications.

Instructors annually improve their qualifications and participate in international scientific and practical conferences and innovation competitions. The faculty has mastered the methods of teaching English from the international Cambridge University and has advanced training certificates from the British Council, State Programs of the US Government, Translation Studies: CELTA, TESOL, IHCYLT, TKT, TKT:CLIL, IELTS, English for Media Literacy, Translation in Oil and Gas and many other.

Our graduates: Over the many years of its existence, the department has turn-out thousands of graduates who work in all corners of not only our country, but also abroad.
