On November 13, 2025, teachers of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety took part in a seminar organized by the RSE “Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology” (Astana) and dedicated to the International Quality Day. The theme of the event was: “Quality and standardization of the future: sustainable development, digital transformation, quality of life”.

The main objective of World Quality Day is to emphasize the importance of high–level products and services, as well as to draw public attention to quality issues. This concerns not only the safety of goods for humans and the environment, but also the satisfaction of consumers, their expectations and requests. In 2025, Quality Day was held under the slogan: “Quality: Think differently,” which motivates rethinking traditional approaches to quality management and making modern, innovative decisions.

During the seminar, the speakers elaborated on the importance of standardization in the digital economy, the introduction of international ISO standards and new norms aimed at achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

Holding events dedicated to professional holidays allows us to emphasize the importance of the work of specialists in various fields. For the teachers of the educational institutions “Standardization and Certification” and “Technology and Food Safety” of our university, participation in such events is an opportunity to remain at the center of discussions on topical issues of product and service quality.
