As today’s realities show, economic education is needed not only by those who work in various fields of economics and management, not only by scientists – economists or teachers of economic disciplines, but by every person, every member of society. Because this knowledge helps every member of society in solving problems that we face in everyday life. The purpose of financial literacy is to familiarize yourself with economic culture and the patterns of economic development of society.

The Department of Finance and Economics of the Institute of Education and Management of WKITU implements a financial literacy course within the framework of the Silver University. As part of the course, lawyer of the branch of “SFSI” JSC in the West Kazakhstan region on financial literacy Karabalina Aizhan Amanzholovna, UNPF – chief specialist of the field service department Kalibekova Shara Temireshovna, chief specialist of the branch of SFSI JSC in the WKR – Diana Serikovna Igilmanova, deputy director for the WKR of the branch of the NAO State Corporation “Government for citizens” Kaumetova Danagul Nurlanovna, head of the Uralsk city department for social security of the branch WKR of the NAO State Corporation “Government for citizens” – Koyshekenov Azamat Berikovich, leading expert of the Department for control of electronic layouts of cases and work with legal entities and individuals of the branch NAO State Corporation “Government for citizens” WKR Shayakhmetova Nadiya Bazarbaevna conducted a seminar on financial literacy.

The seminar participants received valuable information about what documents need to be collected upon reaching retirement age, how much the pension is assigned, how funds are paid in a private savings pension fund, etc. Concrete answers are given to pressing questions. The course will continue.
