In accordance with the calendar plan of the scientific and technical program BR24992892 – “Scientifically based methods for increasing the productivity of dairy cattle based on the development of innovative feeding protocols and intensification of young stock rearing technology” under contract No. 428 PTF 24-26 dated 01.10.2024, concluded with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, research work was conducted at the “Tolengit” peasant farm from November 1 to 8, 2025. The work was carried out by E.G. Nasambaev, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety; K.G. Esengaliev, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor; and A.K. Zholdasbekov, Senior Researcher of the Agrarian Innovation and Technology Park.

During the trip, an analysis of the chemical composition of milk and colostrum from Simmental cows kept at the “Tolengit” peasant farm was carried out. The physico-chemical and biological properties of colostrum and its nutrient composition were determined, and methods for collecting and storing colostrum were developed. An effective and hygienic system for collecting and storing colostrum was created, ensuring its quality and safety. The quality of the colostrum was assessed using the colostrometric method. The following indicators, composition, and properties of milk and colostrum samples from Simmental cows were determined: fat content, protein content, SNF (solids-not-fat), density, and Brix value. Additionally, the feeding process of the Simmental cows, in accordance with feeding protocols, and the microclimate in the premises housing the cows and calves were monitored and inspected.
