Today, at the Department of Architecture and Construction, an informative meeting was held with 1st–5th year students of the educational programs 6B07301 Architecture, 6B07302 Construction, and 6B07303 Land Management and Cadastre, together with police officers. The purpose of the event was to enhance the legal literacy of young people, prevent administrative and cyber offenses, as well as foster a responsible attitude toward compliance with the law.

During the meeting, police representatives spoke in detail about the importance of law-abiding behavior, measures of personal safety in everyday life, and the responsibility for committing offenses. Special attention was paid to issues of safety in public places, online communication culture, and the prevention of cybercrime.

The students showed great interest and actively participated in the discussion: they asked questions about real-life situations related to possible violations, inquired about measures of responsibility, and learned ways to protect themselves from cyber threats. Particular attention was drawn to the topic of combating online fraud, which is especially relevant in today’s digital society.

The event was held in an open and trusting atmosphere, which allowed students to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical advice useful in everyday life.

Such meetings contribute to strengthening cooperation between young people and law enforcement agencies, fostering students’ legal culture, a sense of responsibility for their own actions, and the development of an active civic position.
