On April 7, 2026, a master class titled “The Art of Simple Explanation: How to Make Complex Topics Understandable” was held at the Department of Law of the Institute of Industry Technologies. The event was conducted by Senior Lecturer Aiesheva G.A.
The master class was aimed at updating teachers’ knowledge of modern teaching approaches and improving the effectiveness of teaching economic disciplines.
In the theoretical part, the possibilities of using active learning methods as a means of increasing students’ cognitive engagement were discussed. The instructor emphasized that the use of interactive forms of work makes the learning process more accessible, visual, and practice-oriented. Special attention was given to the role of digital tools such as Quizizz, Kahoot, and Mentimeter in organizing feedback and engaging students.
The instructor also demonstrated the capabilities of Gamma and HeyGen for creating educational materials, which help optimize lesson preparation and improve the quality of visual content.
The instructor noted that implementing an innovative approach in teaching economic disciplines allows:
– effectively combining theoretical knowledge with practical activities;
– developing students’ interest in economics and forming economic thinking;
– increasing the level of student engagement;
– fostering professionally significant and personal qualities in students.
The master class received positive feedback from participants. The stated goals and objectives were successfully achieved. The presented pedagogical experience can be recommended for further use in educational practice.
