On October 8, 2021, a meeting of representatives of two universities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan took place online.

   This meeting was initiated by the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in our country Tursynbekov Atabek Zholdasbekovich.

   A representative of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology (Uralsk, Republic of Kazakhstan) was made by Vice – Rector for BP, Master of Ecology A.I. Abekeshev, on the part of guests Alymov Atabek Kerimbergenovich – PhD for Economic Sciences, Vice – Rector for International Cooperation of Karakalpak State al University. Berdakh (Uzbekistan dakh)

   Despite the closed borders, it was decided to sign a bilateral memorandum on cooperation between universities in order to lay strong foundations for international scientific cooperation, joint scientific research and educational projects.

   According to A.I. Abekeshev, Vice-Rector for Educational Work ZKITU, the online meeting laid the foundations for the future cooperation of two major regional universities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

    This platform also considered the current political agenda and the upcoming presidential elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to the Consul General A.Zh.Tursynbekov, on October 16 in Uralsk an exit early voting point will be created in the building of the Assembly of  People of  Kazakhstan. In connection with the above, he invites students of Uzbek citizens studying at the West Kazakhstan  University of  Innovation and Technology to take an active part in the elections.
