On February 20, 2024, students of the BDZ-31O group had a practice-oriented lesson in the laboratory of the Department of Ecology of the West Kazakhstan region on the discipline “Industry and the Environment”. The lesson was conducted by the head of the laboratory, Ismailova Nurly Talapovna.

The purpose of the lesson was a practical demonstration of laboratory equipment, their devices in general and the technology of laboratory and analytical control. The students got acquainted with the methods of sampling atmospheric air, soil, water, and industrial emissions. As well as with the devices and operation of the GANK-4, Testo-350 gas analyzers, the KFK 3M photometer, the MAX GVM spectroscope, fluorate 02-5H, etc. The students received interesting and informative information regarding environmental monitoring of air, water and land resources. N.T. Ismailova answered the students’ questions.
