According to the program of academic mobility, West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University was visited by Nurlan Kenzheakhmet, Doctor of History, professor at the Institute of Oriental and Asian Studies at the University of Bonn (Germany).
An expert in the field of ancient Turkic writing gave lectures for students and undergraduates of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University on history from the ancient Turkic period to the era of the Golden Horde.
During his lecture, Nurlan Kenzheakhmet stated that it takes a long time to study history and that extraneous problems should not distract the researcher. The scientist also spoke about how for 4 years he was engaged in historical research with funding from two German funds: Humboldt and Gerda Henkel.
In the first two years, the scientist was studying the historical geography of Central Asia, during the last two years he studied the Kazakh Khanate, the state of Shaibanids and Mogulistan.
