In accordance with the anti-corruption plan of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology for the 2021-2022 academic year, approved within the framework of the “Sanaly urpaq” project on corruption prevention, the university administration, together with members of the Anti-Corruption Council, held a meeting with the faculty and faculty staff from September 22 to 28.
In her speech, the rector of ZKITU, Chairman of the Anti-corruption Council Gabdualieva R. S. noted that in order to form an anti-corruption worldview of the teaching staff and staff, a work plan for combating corruption is developed and approved annually, and the work of the lecture group is organized on an ongoing basis. Within the framework of this activity, various events are held aimed at creating zero tolerance for corruption: conversations, discussions, debates, intellectual games, meetings with representatives of law enforcement agencies. In this regard, the anti-corruption policy of the university should be a set of measures to implement anti-corruption ideas, their regulatory and legal consolidation and implementation within the academic environment. She noted that its main goal is to reduce the level of corruption and ensure the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of participants in the educational process from threats related to corruption.
The meeting was also attended by the first Vice-rector, Vice-rector for Educational and Methodological Work, Deputy Chairman of the Council Shakeshev B. T., Vice-rector for Educational Work, Deputy Chairman of the Council Abekeshev A. I., Vice-rector for Strategy and Quality Assurance, member of the Council Irgaliev A. S.
During the event, proposals were made and a resolution was adopted.
