February 21st, 2020, Engineering and Technological Faculty of West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University awarded certificates to students listened the training courses for 36 hours on the theme “Methods of increasing the reproductive capacity of cattle in meat and dairy cattle breeding”.

These courses are organized by the Department of Ecology and Biotechnology as part of the commercialization of scientific developments. The courses, developed by Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Department Professor Baitlessov Erbulat Upievich and Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Kanatbayev Serik Ganievich, included questions devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the genital organs of the females cows, beef and dairy cattle, improved animal fertility hormones; the use of modern methods of insemination and diagnosis of pregnancy in cows; obtaining seed bulls by electrical stimulation; the application of the methods of transplantation of embryos to improve the herd animals.

Practical classes were held on the basis of village industry complex “Shamshyrak” and research laboratories of biotechnology, which are research and production complexes that meet international standards, on the basis of which scientific research is carried out on biotechnology, embryo transplantation and other priority areas of the veterinary service.

Students noted the high level of training, teachers professionalism, create an atmosphere of cooperation, goodwill and understanding, and practical relevance of courses.
