On October 17, 2019, a report on the work of archaeological practice was conducted at West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, the participants of which were students of the first and second courses of the specialty “History”, faculty of pedagogy. Archaeological practice was carried out on the Esen-Amantau plateau, not far from the village of Segizsai, Shyngyrlau district. Two burial mounds were investigated, under which three burials were discovered. Funeral monuments belong to the Sarmatian tribes of the early Iron Age. During the research, bronze arrowheads, ceramic vessels, a bone spoon, etc. were found. The work was carried out under the guidance of Ph.D. M.D. Kalmenova.
